Description

Install, program, and optimize 2 UHF Motorola Quantar repeaters; install antenna system; program XTS5000 portable radios; program and install 3 CommandStar Lite desktop consoles; program and install Astro Consolette control base stations; program and install MC2000 desk sets. Task will also include reprogramming some existing XTS portable radios located at Marshall Space Flight Center, as well as removal of some existing radio equipment. This requirement is for installation services only. All associ ated communication components are to be purchased on GSA Federal Supply Schedule GS-35F-0004L. The purchase of this equipment and installation services is necessary to comply with government directed change to narrowband systems and must be purchased from Motorola , Inc. to ensure compatibility with existing narrowband system in use by other tenant organizations at Redstone Arsenal. Given the proprietary hardware and software required for this system, only Motorola personnel are authorized to perform thes e services. See Note 22. This is a combined synopsis solicitation.
