Description

The Internal Revenue Service is seeking an operations and maintenance service contractor with experience providing this type of service in critical automated data processing center-type facilities. The solicitation will be issued electronically as Request for Proposal (RFP) Number TIRNO-04-R-00005 via posting on the IRS website at http://www.procurement.irs.treas.gov on or about March 22, 2004 (paper copies will not be issued). This procurement will be conducted on an unrestricted basis. The solicitation document and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 20. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220. The small business size standard is $12M. Basic services include operations, repairs, and maintenance of critical rotary uninterruptible power supplies in parallel (12-1000 KVA) and emergency generators in parallel (10-1250 KVA), ADP/Mainframe room HVAC, central cooling and heating plant, plumbing and electrical systems, building temperature control, routine equipment checks and inspections, equipment room and contractor space maintenance, painting and corrosion control, utility meter monitoring, water treatment services, routine, urgent and emergency service call management, and preventive maintenance performance and scheduling of equipment.
