Description

The purpose of this amendment is to change specifications, add DFARS Clause 252.211-7003 Unique Identification (UID) see the UID website: http://www.acq.osd.mil/uid for additional information, and extend the date and time set for receipt of quotations to 4:00 p.m. on March 16, 2004. Contractors are required to either confirm their original quotation or submit a revised quotation by the above date. Failure to do so or failure to provide the information requested in the original combined synopsis/solicitation may result in the quotation not being considered further. All electronic responses shall be sent to the following e-mail addresses: paul.barnhurst@navy.mil, and diane.foucher@navy.mil. The solicitation amendment will be issued on or about March 09 and will be available through the 2.0 Contracts Competency home pages at: https://contracts.nawcwd.navy.mil/rfp-nawc.htm. The following requirement has been removed from the solicitation on CLIN 0001. A minimum relative humidity requirement of 10% to 80% condensing in a non-operation environment is required with a desire to meet a 10% to 90% condensing relative humidity non-operating environment is no longer applicable to this solicitation. The following changes have been made to the solicitation on CLIN 0001. Must have a power source of 110-120 Volts AC 60Hz. A data rate minimum of 30 Megabytes/sec (240 megabits/sec) is required with a desire for higher data rates. Any operating system hard drive must be removable. All system and data hard drives or solid-state data modules must be easily removable from the front since the data recorder will be rack mounted. The drive enclosures shall have some means of positively holding the drives in place such as key locks. Provide data on how you will hold the drives in place and that they can be easily removable from the front.
