- Defense Supply Center Richmond will be issuing a multiple National Stock Numbers (NSNs) solicitation for approximately 68 NSNs relating to Pressure, Temperature, and Humidity Instruments. All 68 NSNs belong to the 6685 Federal Supply Class (FSC). It is currently planned that Government First Article Testing (FAT) applies to 40 NSNs, Contractor FAT applies to five NSNs, and a Master Drawing Requirement applies to 43 NSNs. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside under solicitation number SP0412-04-R-2364 and Request for Proposal (RFP) LTC03267014649. The NSNs may be awarded individually. Contractors may quote on the entire group or on as many NSNs as they have the capability to perform. The contract awarded will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract. The solicitation contains a three-year base period with two one-year option periods. The NSNs have been grouped utilizing the World Wide Web Industrial Capabilities Assessment Program (WICAP). WICAP uses the Department of Commerce?s North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) to group the NSNs into the groupings based on similar manufacturing processes. Inspection and Acceptance will be on destination and origin basis and FOB will be on a destination basis. This initiative will have Surge and Sustainment Requirements. The estimated issue and closing dates for this procurement are March 31, 2004 and May 17, 2004. Effective June 1, 1998, in order to receive an award, regardless of dollar value, Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required. Annual updates to your registration will be required.
