- Description
- The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) plans to solicit proposals from qualified organizations having resources to perform clinical laboratory services to support national multi-site clinical trials. Services include supplying of clinical products to trial sites, performing laboratory analyses, evaluating devices and methodologies, and providing consultations in screening and testing methodologies used in addiction research. All laboratories must be operated according to the FDA?s Good Laboratory Practices Program and have required national certification. All operations should be performed under established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines. It is estimated that a 3-year firm fixed price IDIQ contract will result from this procurement. The project will include options for 2 additional years and option quantities. RFP No. N01DA-4-2206 will be available electronically on or about March 29, 2004. You can access the RFP through the FedBizOpps (URL: http://www.fedbizopps.gov or through the NIDA website at the following address: (URL: http://www.nida.nih.gov/RFP/RFPList.html). Please note that the RFP for this acquisition will be streamlined to include only the Work Statement, Deliverables, Reporting Requirements, Special Requirements, Mandatory Qualifications, Technical Evaluation Criteria, and other necessary Proposal Preparation Instructions. All information required for the submission of an offer will be contained in or accessible through the streamlined electronic RFP package. Response to the RFP will be due on or about May 12, 2004. Any responsible offeror may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the Government. This advertisement does not commit the Government to award a contract. See Note 26.
