- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals/bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) #0036473. The provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-20. This solicitation is under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is a Small Business Set-Aside. The business size standard is 500 employees. This will be a Firm-Fixed price one-time buy contract. Requirement: (4 Ea.) Electrostatic Detection Apparatus. Specification: The system must consist of the following: Corona and developer timer, A3 replaceable and washable vacuum bed 440x310mm, Corona Unit, Document humidifier, Cascade developer catch tray. Consumer items: transparent self-adhesive plastic film 350x500mm, 100 microns thick, transparent self-adhesive plastic film 350mm, 100 microns thick, size imaging film 320mm wide, 4Kg, Toner application device, comprising 60mm contact pad, 5g of toner per pad, 500g of cascade developer, 350g of toner, safety data sheet, application note. A standard commercial warranty is required. FOB-Destination-Quantico, VA. 22135. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference and apply to this acquisition. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the FAR provision 52.212-3-Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commerce Items (Jan. 2004). FAR provision 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999). Offerors are encouraged to fax quotes to 202-324-0570. FAR provision 52.215-5 Facsimile Proposals (Oct 1997), FAR Clause 52.207-7 Central Contractor Registration (Oct. 2003), FAR provision 52.204-6 Data Universal Numbering System (Oct. 2003. The Government will award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to this solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
