Description

The VA Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia contemplates negotiation of a sole source procurement with Lanier Healthcare, LLC 5430 Metric Place, suite 200 Norcross, Georgia 30092 for complete maintenance of a Lanier Voice Writer 64NT dictation system and combination of all dictation into one system located in Radiology which is comprised of various components for the period April 1, 2004 through March 31, 2005. Maintenance shall include routine, after hours, and software monitoring. Negotiations to begin on or about March 30, 2004. NAICS code is 811212. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 15 calendar days after publication of this synopsis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting proposals and literature, describing how their service meets the VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer or by fax (334) 395-4042. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This procurement is subject to the availability of Fiscal Year 2004 funds.
