Material and Dimensions are as follows: Inconel 718, ID 21.040? to 21.050? OD 24.129? to 24.139?, width 2.297? to 2.305?. Applicable to: F110 Engine, F16 Aircraft and F101 Engine, B1B Aircraft. Destination: FB2039 Delivery: February 2005 Estimated Qty: 42 Quantity Ranges will be solicited 20-35, 36-51 and 52-67. The quantity listed can change before award. Contractors should quote on all quantities listed. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. Qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 29 March 2004. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 29 April 2004. The anticipated award date will be 28 May 2004. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. First Article Test Required. No telephone requests. Contractors should obtain a copy of the solicitation from the FedBizOpps website or provide an e-mail address for this office to send an electronic copy. This office no longer mails solicitations. Data may be obtained from the TeDs website at www.fedteds.com once the solicitation has been issued. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government?s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
