- Solicitation Number: FA8519-04-R-71620 Set Aside: Total Small Business This acquisition is a Small Business Set Aside for an Firm Fixed Price Requirements contract, with 1 Basic year and 4 option years for the purchase of the following: NSN: 5410-00-422-4716EJ, P/N CSVMS, Noun: Vehicle Maintenance Set NSN: 5410-00-175-8765EJ, P/N CSAGE, Noun: Configuration Set AGE NSN: 4940-01-269-3558EJ, P/N 200318510, Noun: Wheel and Tire Config Set The aircraft wheel and tire shop (WATS) configuration set, the AGE-battery equipment set, and the vehicle maintenance shop (VMS) configuration set make up the Basic Expeditionary Airfield Resources (BEAR) base configuration sets. When one of the equipment/configuration sets is installed in a shelter and augmented with user provided equipment, it becomes a functional maintenance shop for support of the Bear Base mission. The WATS configuration set contains power cord assemblies, sign assemblies, compressed air distribution system, welding table/work bench assemblies, tool box rack, nose and main wheel/tire stand assemblies, degreaser, sink and duct, bearing puller mount. The AGE-battery equipment set contains static grounding set, welding table/work bench assemblies, compressed air distribution system, sink-shower, and water system assembly, and a shipping box/storage container. The VMS configuration set contains static grounding set, sign assemblies, welding safety curtain and welding fire blanket, welding table/work bench assemblies, compressed air distribution system, exhaust system, battery charger fan, and power distribution system. Quantity: Each option year for each system to include Technical Manuals. Best Estimated Quantities - Vehicle Main Set - Basic Year 5 ea, Option I, II, II and IV 4 ea. Configuration Set AGE - Basic Year 15 ea, Option I - 25 ea, Options II, III and IV 10 ea Wheel & Tire Config Set - Basic Year 3 ea, Option I 5 ea, Options II, II and IV 3 ea. First Article will be required. Condition(s) for Waiver of First Article Approval: Offerors currently in production of the same or similar article for an Air Force contract and who have received First Article approval under an existing contract or offerors who have previously furnished production quantities of the same or similar articles to the Air Force, provided articles thus furnished, have exhibited satisfactory performance in service in the opinion of the Air Force or provided not more than 48 months have elapsed since completion of the contract.
