- 1. The U.S. Army's Project Manager for Combat Ammunition Systems/Product Manager for Mortar Systems has the following items available for use by offerors in their proposal for the USMC EFSS Requirement Solicitation M67854-04- R-6014: a. Mortar Fire Control: 1) M95/M96 Mortar Fire Control System (MFCS) executable software 2) M95/M96 Technical Manuals 3) M95/M96 MFCS Technical Data Package 4) Telephonic support to address contractor questions regarding MFCS is available during normal business hours. - Primary POC: Mr. Mike Patriarca Tele 973-724-3571 email: mpatria@pica.army.mil - Alternate POC: Mr. Tom Bradley Tele 973-724-3571 email: tbradley@pica.army.mil 5) If requested a description of MFCS engineering capabilities and facilities that could be provided to the successful contractor after contract award is available. b. 120mm Mortar Ammunition: 1) Telephonic support to address contractor questions regarding 120mm Mortar Ammunition is available during normal business hours. - POC: Mr. Kwok Cheung, Tel:973-724-4443, Email: kwok@pica.army.mil 2) If requested a description of 120mm Mortar Ammunition engineering capabilities and facilities that could be provided to the successful contractor after contract award is available. 2. An industry day presentation at Picatinny Arsenal will take place on 18 Mar 2004 demonstrating the M95/M96 Mortar Fire Control System as well as any questions on the current family of U.S. Army 120mm mortar ammunition. The Industry day presentation is open to US Citizens only. 3. Offerors will be required to sign a nondisclosure agreement with PM CAS/PM Mortars stating that all material provided on the M95/M96 Mortar Fire Control System and/or Ammunition will only be used for the purpose of preparing a proposal to this RFP, and that the material must be appropriately safeguarded and returned at the conclusion of the competition. 4. PM CAS/PM Mortars and TACOM-ARDEC together are willing to enter into discussions with offerors for possible teaming arrangements (on a non-exclusive basis) during contract performance for the Mortar Fire Control System and for 120mm ammunition. The PM is willing to provide a commitment letter as necessary at the conclusion of any discussions indicating its willingness to pursue formal working arrangement with the successful EFSS offeror upon contract award. Be advised that the same PM CAS/PM Mortars and TACOM-ARDEC personnel will be involved in the discussions with all potential offerors.
