- Description
- The purpose of this amendment is to extend the respose date of the combined synopsis/solicitation to 25 March 2004 at 1500 hours local (Central European Time) time, and to answer the questions that were asked during the site visit on 10 March 2004. The following questions are answered below: 1. How many workstations (desks) will be disassembled and reassembled and reconfigured in the new building? The list was already provided on what equipment/furniture has to be moved or turned into DRMO. 2. Is there a loading dock at the new terminal? There are many truck docks at the new building 3. Are there elevators in the new AFT? When yes, how many people can stand in there? Yes. I do not know. They have not been installed yet. 4. How many floors do you have in the new AFT? 3 floors 5. At DRMO how is unloading there? Do I have to have men there or do you unload? All items will have to be palletized, DRMO will offload with forklifts. 6. Will there be working going on during the move? No 7. Will files need to be pre-packed? No, the organization will box personal items--the contractor will be required to provide boxes 8. Who will disassemble the roller floor in the mail section? Who is taking out the three floor scales? The rollers will be disassembled by a separate contractor and moved 9. Will the Kardex rolling cabinets in the Data Records section be disassembled and either taken to DRMO or moved to the new building? The file system will be demo’d with the Bldg 10. Will there be any problem with other than German national employees? no, if they have a German work permission 11. Is it possible to work 12+ hours and weekends? I see no problem with that
