Description
The purposes of Amendment No. 3 to Solicitation No. S-LMAQM-04-R-0045 are (1) extend the response date to March 18, 2004 and (2) to provide additional questions/answers to all offerors. Questions/Answers Question 16. Would you consider using MS Access instead of Word or Notepad? Reason being is that Access is a database which will allow search capabilities and it has an awesome reporting structure. This would be very useful when downloading data and formulating results. Answer: Word or Notepad were given as examples, it’s the offer’s choice on what software is sufficient. Question 17. During the Pilot Phase will real candidates be using the system and testing it’s use as part of the vacancy announcement/candidates screening. Answer: No, it is not intended for real candidates to be using the system during the pilot phase. Question 18. Item #5 indicates Program Review approximately 165 days after contract award. Could you please tell me what you envision the phase to be? Answer: 165 days after the award of the contract there will be a Program Review of the contract project of the program. Question 19. When is the designated award date? Answer: There isn’t a date set, after the Government has reviewed proposals and has decided who has the offer. Question 20. What is meant by “it is anticipated the requirement is for a minimum of five years.” Are you saying the contract is for 5 years, you’ll only use the new methodology for 5 years, or what is that in reference to? Answer: The contract will be for five years (Base and 4 option years) Question 21. Will I be required to travel to Arlington more than 2 times during the course of the project? Answer: Frequency of travel to Arlington will depend upon the contractor’s understanding of the project and amount of on-site discussions needed. Question 22. How long will the vendor be expected to host the site? Only through the Pilot program or beyond? Answer: It is expected that the vendor will host the Site during the pilot and beyond. Possibly each time the Announcement is opened whether that’s two or three per year with the possibility that Announcement might be opened on a continuous basis.
