Description
The Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport MS is searching for vendors who can perform a full range of therapy services to include physical, speech, occupational, and when available, respiratory therapy. Vendor must provide licensed/registered therapy services to conform with the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO), Long Term Care, and Ambulatory Care standards relating to the treatment of Armed Forces Retirement Home-Gulfport residents. The Vendor shall provide these services on-site at AFRH-G utilizing government-furnished office space. The services shall be provided Monday - Friday. The Vendor shall be responsible for providing the equipment necessary for a registered/licensed therapist to use. These services, including ancillary services provided, shall be at no cost to the Government. The Vendor shall utilize third party billing from the AFRH-G residents, through appropriate insurance carriers, for reimbursement of any and all services provided under this effort. The AFRH-G currently has approximately 590 residents, though that number may fluctuate related to construction periods, etc. All residents have Medicare, Tricare, or Champus and a supplementary medical insurance policy. At present time, Tricare requires that services be requested through the military primary care physician in order for Tricare to be billed for services. The vendor shall directly bill the resident?s insurance company for reimbursement of services. The Government is not responsible for payment of these services, to include co-payments. All Vendor personnel must hold current licenses in the state of MS for the occupational duties they are performing and be U.S. Citizens.
