Remove three existing duct-mounted smoke detectors on HVAC-1, HVAC-3B, and HVAC-4. 2. Install new ASME ???HV??? stamped valves set at 50 psig on each boiler. a. Replace the three boiler safety relief valves (SRVs) with same size ASME ???HV??? stamped SRVs, each set at 50 psig. b. Provide and install outlet piping from each SVR down to no more than 6??? off the foundation. 3. Provide and install flow switch to the chilled water supply line. a. As indicated on the original transmittal, provide flow switch on the chilled water supply line such to start the back-up chilled water pump on a no flow or minimum flow condition. (Omit any control tie-in work) 4. Supply new elbow on HVAC-2A supply and relocate humidifier manifold. a. Fabricate gasketed duct elbow for HVAC-2A supply for easy removal. (Provide room for passage between elbow and opposite wall.) b. Relocate humidifier???s steam manifold closer to the new elbow c. Eliminate manifold???s old opening by replacing duct from the humidifier to the next 90 degree elbow downstream. 5. Motorized fifth floor gravity damper and install 90 degree hood on the exterior. a. Provide and install a 90 degree hood to the fifth floor gravity type exhaust damper. Provide adequate caulking to prevent entry of outside precipitation. b. Replace damper with a motorized type. (Omit any control tie-in work) 6. Re-pipe supply 7 return piping of three hot water boilers. a. Demolish existing all supply and return boiler piping and main hot water loop supply & return piping from the first boiler connection to the last boiler connections. b. Re-pipe supply & return piping per drawing. (These supply and return connections for the three boilers are to be redirected to the respective supply and return manifolds prior to tie-in on the main hot water circulation loop. In addition, provide the necessary isolation valve for each of the three supply and three return lines and check valves on each supply line.) 7. Rework exhaust & combustion air intake of three boilers. a. For each boiler, provide an extended tee on the exhaust such that any condensate that can form is directed straight to the ground. b. For each boiler, provide a 90 degree hood to the air intake such as to minimize effects of wind gust & formation of condensation from the flue discharge. Provide this with a cleanable bird screen. 8. Provide condensate drain for the boilers. a. Rough-in condensate drain on the boiler pad to the closest drain connection. b. Install drain c. Finish concrete floor 9. Rework chiller piping insulation. a. Remove old insulation, b. Clean pipe of rust and other debris c.
