Description

Sources sought announcement for Packing, Containerization, and Local Drayage services Department of the AF, AFSC, 21 CONS/LGCBC, 700 Suffolk Street, Building 982, Peterson AFB, Colorado Springs, CO 80914-1200. The 21st Contracting Squadron/LGCBC is seeking sources interested in providing Packing, Containerization, and Local Drayage services in the El Paso County area of Colorado, for DOD military and civilian employee household good moves. There will be three requirements under this contract, which will be advertised under a single Request For Proposal (RFP): Schedule I (outbound), Schedule II (Inbound), and Schedule III (Intra city/Intra area moves). We anticipate issuing an RFP for this requirement on or before July 2, 2004. Schedule I, II, and III may be awarded to a single contractor, or to different contractors based on the prices that are most advantageous to the Government. Responsibilities of the contractor include, but are not limited to, providing all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services and materials, except as specified as Government Furnished, for the preparation of personal property of Department of Defense personnel for shipment and/or storage and related services in the El Paso County area of Colorado. The SIC code is 4783, the NAICS code is 488991, and the size standard is $21.5 million. Respondents must identify their business status, i.e., woman owned, minority owned, Native American (tribally owned or Alaskan Native), Services Disabled-Veteran owned, Hub zone, 8(a), Large or Small Business, a point of contact with the appropriate voice and FAX numbers, as well as the mailing and e-mail addresses.
