Description

The Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) of the Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) will issue a Solicitation through the Department of Energy (DOE) Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) to provide grants to support the cos t of fuel cell demonstration projects of successful qualifying applicants. The amount of any individual DoD Climate Change Fuel Cell Program grant will not exceed the lower of $1,000/kW of installed fuel cell capacity, or one-third of the total project c osts which includes unit cost, installation, and one year of operation. This Solicitation will be available only in electronic format at the following address: http://www.bpa.gov/Energy/N/projects/fuel_cell/dod_program.shtml. Release of solicitation num ber: 52985 is estimated to be 7 April 2004. The BPA point of contact is Ms. Brenda Heister, phone: 503/230-3531; email: bsheister@bpa.gov. Proposals may be submitted upon issuance of the Solicitation, for a period of up to one year or until superceded, h owever, for obligation of current FY 2003 funding, proposals must be submitted not later than 1 June 2004 or such other date as specified in the Solicitation. All responsible sources, other than those specifically specified to be ineligible in the Solicit ation, may submit a proposal for consideration.
