A firm fixed-price Requirements type commercial contract is contemplated with one basic year and 4 (four) one year options for repair of F108/CFM 56-2A/2B HPT Nozzle Segments. Item 0001: NOUN: F108 HPT Nozzle Segment Input NSN 2840-01-253-1391PN, P/N: 1285M96G01-G13 and/or 1396M96G01-13; NSN: 2840-01-206-9818PN, P/N: 9511M43G06-G15; NSN: 2840-01-466-9348PN, P/N: 9527M50G01-G03 and/or 1285M97G01-G03 and/or 1317M36G01-03; NSN: 2840-01-339-6142PN, P/N: 9527M50G04-G07 and/or 1285M97G04 and/or 1317M36G04/G05 and/or 9527M50G10-G12 and/or 9527M50G14/G15 and/or 1441M29G06; NSN: 2840-01-439-1262PN, P/N: 1476M30G01-G05-G07; NSN: 2840-01-438-9420PN, P/N: 2002M64G01/G02. Output NSN 2840-01-438-9420PN, P/N: 2080M29G03. BEQ as follows: 565 EA Basic Year; 350 EA OPT I; 619 EA OPT II; 651 EA OPT III; 659 EA OPT IV. Applicable to: F108 Engine, KC-135R Aircraft. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base OK 73145-3032. IPE quantity of 5 each HPT Nozzle Segment may be required. Description: The HPT Nozzle Segments are made from a high strength cobalt alloy, DSR142. Each vane is a cast shell divided into forward and aft compartments by an inner rib. The 2 each vanes are brazed into inner and outer platforms. The vanes and platforms are cooled by compressor discharge air that enters the vane compartments thru inserts in the inner & outer ends of the vanes and exits thru the vanes leading and trailing edges. Delivery: Item 0001: Initial delivery will be 115 EA in 45 days ARO and receipt of reparable assets, followed by delivery of 50 EA per month starting 30 days ARO and receipt of reparable assets for Basic Year; 50 EA per month OPT I; 50 EA per month OPT II; 50 EA per month OPT III; 50 EA per month OPT IV. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Qualification requirements are not available for this acquisition. These qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. The approximate solicitation issue date is 23 MAR 2004 and the estimated solicitation response date will be 16 APR 2004. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
