Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island intends to purchase the following items under full and open competition: Item 0001, Secondary Propulsion Motor Cable Assemblies, NSN 6130-01-477-6642 drawing #803-1197260-Rev B, Phase C quantity of three (3). The drawing is available upon written request from the Contracting Officer. E-mail your drawing request to christensendc@npt.nuwc.navy.mil. The over molding and hydrostatic pressure testing are not required by the vendor under this procurement. The drawings specify that any source for these cables must have demonstrated that it meets the standard prescribed for qualification. Offerors should contact the agency activity Submarine Maintenance Engineering Planning and Procurement (SUBMEPP/W. Nichols (201) 438-6186) for further information on meeting the standards for qualification. Award will be made to the lowest price offeror meeting the requirements of the solicitation. The solicitation with specifications is expected to be available on our website by April 2, 2004. Delivery will be FOB Destination to Norfolk, Va within 60 days after award. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Instead, they may be accessed at our web site http://www.npt.nuwc.navy.mil/contract/. We also provide electronic access in our Bid Room.
