Repair, Voltage Regulator, Solicitation FA8103-04-Q-0163 P.O.C. JOHN P. BRANIFF, JR./LGKAB/ (405) 734-4620 Services, Non-Personal, Repair: The Contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish the repair, modification, test, packing and packaging and return to the Government in accordance with the work specifications contained in the contract, the line items of Air Force equipment listed below. A firm fixed price type contract is contemplated for this contract. The item and estimated quantities are as follows: CLIN 0001 NSN: 6110-00-493-4774HY P/N: 2AG36-330 QTY: 6, Over and Above Applicable to: H-053C Destination: Tinker Air Force Base OK 73145-3028. Delivery: 30 Days ARO/ARR. This solicitation is to obtain a firm fixed price contract for the repair of Voltage Regulator with 100% contractor furnished material. The approximate issue of the solicitation date will be: 07 April 2004. Approximate award date is: 07 May 2004. Deliveries are to be at a rate as follows: CLIN 0001: 6 Each 30 Days ARO reps and order. Source: THIS IS A LIMITED/ RESTICTED COMPETITIVE SOLICITATION TO THE FOLLOWING: Duotech Services, Inc., (Cage: 5Y609), Franklin, NC and Weco Aerospace Systems, Inc., (Cage: 1V654), Lincoln, CA. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C) (1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However all proposals received within 45days (30, if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in sub-contracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the Contracting Officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government?s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
