- NSN: 5998014342249PR P/N: 103E4828G2 NOUN: Circuit Card Assembly The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 30 days of the solicitation issuance will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. ITEM DESCRIPTION: The circuit card is a multilayer card with resisters, capacitors and microcircuits attached. This card will snap and lock onto another card assembly by a locking nail. Function: The function is to perform multiplexing and A/D conversion. It provides excitation for resistance temperature detectors (RTD?s) pyrometer and lube sensor. The dimensions approximately 6? X 4? X ?? inches. The material consists of plastic and wiring. Applicable to: F110 Destination: FB2039 Qty is 69 each. Delivery Due Date: Feb 2006 Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. These qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 5 April 2004. The response date will be approximately 30 days after the issuance. The anticipated award date will be 15 Jun 2004. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm listed. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government?s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
