- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4620-04-Q-B006 is issued as a request for quote, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-15. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 488390. Small business size standard is $6,000,000. This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside. Unit Small Business Specialist is Marion Nelson (509-247-4880); link to USAF Small Business, http://www.selltoairforce.org; link to SBA http://sba.gov: link to unit public information: http://www.fairchild.af.mil/lgcons. This procurement will be awarded as a Firm Fixed Price purchase order for a one-year base period and two one-year option periods. The contractor shall provide potable water to MCP?s 2,600 gallon holding tank located in various sites within the Tacoma Creek Training Area located in Cusick WA. Deliverable requirements for CLIN 0001 (the basic year) are estimated at a total of eleven (11) each to the Gletty Pit in Bartlett from 1 May 2004 through 25 September 2004 and from 30 September 2004 through 28 April 2005 for the Upper 66/Tacoma Creek Road intersection. The quantities and delivery requirements for the options (CLINS 0002 and 0003) will be the same for the follow-on years. The service will be an on-call on an ?as requested basis? estimated to range between weekly to monthly depending on usage/occupancy. The attached Statement of Work which is incorporated as part of this solicitation and can be downloaded at link: www.eps.gov. The performance period is anticipated to start on or about 1 May 04 through 25 Sept. 04 in Bartlett and 30 Sept. 04 28 Apr 2005 for Upper Tacoma. The Contracting Officer may exercise the options and extend the term of the contract by written notice to the contractor prior to the completion date of the contract and preliminary written notice of intent to extend prior to the completion date of the contract. The Contracting Officer has the option to increase CLIN quantity by up to 50% of the intitial quantity at the same unit rate. The total duration of the contract including exercise of any options will not exceed three years.
