- 1. NSN 7920-00-018-7052 BRUSH, SCRUB: The brush shall be Pace Inc. P/N 1127-0002-P5 with the following characteristic: Nylon bristles spiral wound on 1/16 inch diameter wire, 9/16 inch overall brush diameter, 2-5/8 inch overall length of brush part, cadmium plated steel wire handle with loop, overall length 9-1/4 inches. Unit of issue ? EA (each). PRODUCT CONFORMANCE. The products provided shall meet the salient characteristics of this description, conform to the producer's own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices, and be the same product offered for sale in the commercial market. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY. The item(s) shall be packaged and packed to afford adequate protection against physical damage during shipment from the supplier to the first physical damage during shipment from the supplier to the first receiving activity. The pack shall comply with the rules and regulations applicable to the mode of transportation. The package shall be the same as that normally provided by the supplier. NSN 7920-00-276-9507 BRUSH, WIRE, TUBE: Shall be an injector and tube cleaning brush in accordance with the following description: Filament Material. The filament shall be copper alloy wire having a diameter of 0.005 inch minimum. Handle wire. The wire foring the handle and holding the filler shall be steel, 0.106 inch minimum in diameter, treated to resist corrosion. Construction. The brush shall be configured similar to figure 1 and meeting the dimensional requirements of table I. The handle wire shall be folded to form a looped handle end, and twisted tightly enough around the filaments in the brush end to secyrly hold the filament against being pulled out by hand. The brush shall be 0.003" steel filler caught in the middle of a folded/twisted wire, forming a brush with a working diameter of 5/16", brush length 9/16", stem diameter 3/32" and overall length 2-1/8". The twisted wire stem shall form 1 inch (minimum) loop at end opposite brush and shall conform to the following requirements: Wire stem - Galvanized steel wire, 0.062 inch in diameter (plus or minus 0.003 inch) Filler material - Corrosion resistant steel wire, 0.004 inch in diameter (minimum) Overall length - 6 inches (minimum, including loop) Brush part length - 1-1/2 inches (minimum) Brush diameter - 1/4 inch (minimum) unit of issue ?
