Description

The VA VISN 22 Network Business Center intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 13) sole source contract with Unisource Maintenance Supply, 13217 S Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90061 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition is being prepared in support of this acquisition. Unisource shall provide specified products that will fit the current 3M Twist and Fill dispensers. No other product can be dispensed due to the packing design. The VA Los Angles infection control committee has approved these products. The Government is requisition from Unisource Maintenance Supply a 3 M sales distributor in the Los Angeles area for following items: (1) Stock # 2L Heavy Duty Multi ? Surface Cleaner for Twist N? Fill Dispenser Blake Cap, 20 CS; (2) Stock #4L Bathroom Cleaner for Twist N? Fill Dispenser Black Cap, 20 CS; (3) Stock # 18L 3M Phenolic Disinfectant Cleaner for 3M Twist N ?Fill Dispenser Black Cap, 120 CS; (4) Stock # 1L 3 M Glass Cleaner for 3M Twist and Fill Dispenser, Black Cap. , 20CS (5) Stock # 40H5485 Spray Bottles for 3M Cleaning Products and Labels for #1L, 5 DZ; (6) ) Stock # 40F7916 Fliptop Trigger Caps for 3M Cleaning Products, 17 DZ; (7) Stock # 40H6480 Spray Bottles for 3M Cleaning Products and Labels for (2L) 5 DZ and (8) Stock # 40H5507 Spray Bottles for 3 M Cleaning products and labels for #4L 5 DZ. The Government will consider all quotes received by 4:00 p.m. April 1, 2004. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
