Description
SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for informational and planning purposes only. The Government is soliciting information to determine the availability of capable contractors that can perform the following requirement. HQ AMC/A34Y intends to issue Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) to acquire commercial air ambulance services utilizing jet aircraft for movement of patients in the West-PAC area around Japan, Okinawa and Guam, and possibly transfers from Hawaii to CONUS. Air carrier must be accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) and/or become a DOD-approved carrier. The contractor shall provide (1) all personnel, services, equipment, tools, fuel, oil, materials, facilities, supervision, and indirect materials necessary to perform air ambulance services, including a sufficient number of ground personnel for adequate maintenance and ground operations, or (2) jet aircraft without medical crew. In this case, the USG would provide the necessary medical personnel and equipment to transport the patient. The aircraft and medical crew may be required to be ready for immediate departure not later than two hours after confirmed notification of an air ambulance requirement. The aircraft shall be configured for safe over water flights. This agency has not made a final commitment to procure the stated requirement and this sources sought notice should not be construed as a commitment or authorization to incur costs in anticipation of such procurement. This agency is interested in obtaining responses to this sources sought notice from prospective contractors, but no contractor shall be reimbursed for providing this information; therefore, the Air Force will accept the requested information in whatever format it is provided. All information provided will become property of the Air Force and will not be returned.
