Description
The requirement consists of: 1. The pumping, cleaning, sanitizing, disinfecting, and disposal of contents (sewage) of, field latrine holding tanks. 2. Providing approximately 450 gallons (estimated) of replacement chemicals for the holding tank. 3 . Cleaning all-interior surfaces of the latrine facility i.e. removal of trash, sweeping, washing and sanitizing all latrine surfaces. 4. Cleaning exterior of latrine facility i.e. mow grass and remove brush. Average number of latrines pumped and cleaned per year: 124(estimated). The contractor must have a valid New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Waste Transporter Permit. Location: Range Areas, Fort Drum, NY. Contractor must be able to travel on dirt roads. The contract will be a fixed priced requirements type with a 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods. This solicitation will be a total small business set-aside under the authority of FAR Subpart 19.502-2 - for the North American Industry Classification System (N AICS) Code 562991, Septic Tank and Related Services with a small business threshold of $6 million. This procurement will be awarded using the simplified acquisition procedures outlined in FAR Part 13 and Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial It ems and the commercial procedures of FAR Part 12. The Request For Quotation (RFQ) is expected to be published on or about 5 April 2004. The DUE DATE for the RFQ shall be 15 days after actual issuance or posting on Fort Drums Web Page at http://www.drum.a rmy.mil/garrison/doc/service.htm. Only contractors registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) will be considered for contract award. See www.ccr.com for more information on registering. All sources wishing to submit a RFQ are required to monito r the Fort Drum Contracting web page for all, if any, amendments to the RFQ. Failure to respond to any amendments may render the RFQ as non-responsive and thereby rejected.
