- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE), NJ intends to procure Depot Level Maintenance Special Test Equipment/Factory Test Equipment (STE/FTE) in support of the Advanced Targeting Forward Looking Infrared (ATFLIR) Program on a non-competitive basis from the Raytheon Corporation, El Segundo, CA. The Depot Level STE/FTE is intended for establishing an organic capability to effect maintenance and repair of ATFLIR Units under Test (UUTs). The Depot STE/FTE shall consist of but not be limited to the Electro Optical Sensor Unit (EOSU) Functional Test Station, Telescope/Gimbal Assembly Optical Bench, Infrared Receiver (IRR) Test Station, Active and Passive Laser Stations, roll Drive Housing Test Equipment, Pod Electric Housing (PEH) Assembly Test Equipment, PEH Cardcage Test Equipment and the Pod Adapter Unit (PAU) Seal Blade and Saddle Assembly Test Equipment. In addition, a Technical Data Package (TDP) and associated training and support for the STE/FTE will be procured. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c) (1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on the responses received to this notice will be solely within the discretion of the Government.
