Description
The Government intends to procure services for Pool Management, Operations, Supplies, and Lifeguard Services at the Naval Air Station Oceana, Recreational Pool and Water Park, Virginia Beach, Virginia. The Performance Period for the resulting service will be from 01 May 2004 through 12 September 2004. The proposed requirement will be awarded under a Firm Fixed Price contract and will utilize procedures in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 24 March 2004 by downloading the documents at the NECO Website as follows: http://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This requirement is 100% small business set-aside "See Note 1"; the size standard is $6.0 million. The applicable NAICS Code is 561990. All responsible sources must submit pricing and past performance data by 4:00 p.m. on the date the offer is due. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. The contractor shall provide all labor necessary to operate the two (2) aquatic facilities at the Naval air Station Oceana, for the Recreational Pool and for the Water Park. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award. The prospective awardees must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov/ the offerors at anytime prior to award.
