Description

The Southern AZ VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS), 3601 S. 6th Ave., Tucson, AZ intends to negotiate a sole-source procurement with the Buffalo Supply, Inc. for the purchase of laparoscopic equipment. The requirement includes surgical equipment, laparoscopes (camera and camera with console), which are inserted into patients during procedures. Also required are various laparoscopic apparatus, such as equipment for light source and monitor, to help with a variety of laparoscopic procedures performed. NAICS for this requirement is 423450. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 7 calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the firm's capability of working on the specified equipment and ability to comply with the above requirements. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer, SAVAHCS (9-90C) 3601 S. 6th Ave. Tucson, AZ 85723 or via fax to (520) 629-1817. No telephone requests will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the SAVAHCS will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Buffalo Supply, Inc.
