Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO) will be conducting a small business competition for the award of a contract for the development of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines. The contractor shall establish and operate a contracted system to assist clinicians in Veterans Health Administration (VHA) of the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense (DoD) develops evidence-based clinical practice guidelines. Evidence-based clinical practice guidelines can be used to: 1. Reduce variation and ensure predictable quality of care and resource utilization; 2. Reduce errors and ensure the safety of the care provided; and 3. Promote accountability to the optimum standard of care based on the most current state of scientific knowledge. The solicitation issue date will be on or abour Aptil 1, 2004, with proposals due on or about April 22, 2004. As stated in the solicitation page 5-24 - Contract Document, Exhibits, or Attachments, offerors are requested to contact the contracting officer via e-mail (Priscilla.lee@mail.va.gov) to obtain copies of Attachment 2 and Attachment 7 through Attachment 11. Offerors must provide a complete mailing address along with the name, telephone and fax number, and point of contact for your company. No telephone requests for solicitation package will be accepted. Please reference RFP 101-14-04 on all requests, and the NAICS code is 813920.
