- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W91ZRS-04-Q-0005 and is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Fede ral Acquisition Circular 01-15. This proposed contract is unrestricted. The Connecticut Army National Guard, AVCRAD Facility has the requirement for 2 Hydraulic Power Units. The government considers Hydraulic Power Cart part # 54200EA1BDFIKQ manufacture d by Tronair, Inc. or equal to meet the minimum needs of the government. The 5420 is a standard unit capable of 15 gpm (56.8 lpm) and 3500 psi (241 bar) for MIL-H-83282 fluid. It will be painted the color of desert sand. The unit will have the following q uick disconnects: KHC-1004 (2). It will be wired for 230v/60Hz-3 phase power. The standard unit replaces the standard 15 foot (4.5 meter) hoses with 50 foot (15.2 meter) hose. The 5420 unit will add: a dual system crossover check to simulate main system fa ilure, 60 Hz hour meter to help schedule maintenance functions, a 415-460v shut down feature in case of incorrect input power, a temperature guage to monitor return oil and adds a calibration port. All equipment must be new and conform to all applicable standards and specifications. The Acquisition will be FOB Destination with delivery and acceptance point at Connecticut AVCRAD, 139 Tower Ave, Groton New-London Airport, Groton Connecticut 06340-5300. Delivery date shall be within 30 days of receipt of o rder. Award will be based on price of the base model with options. The provisions of FAR 52.212-3, Oferror, Representations, applies to this RFQ. A completed and signed copy of this provision shall be submitted with all offers.
