- The item to procure is a Designation Plate (NSN: 9905-00-514-0669) (Part Number: 5140669) End Item is MK 93/MK 64. Designation Plate is made from Carbon Steel Plate per ASTM A109, A568, A569, A366 or A620. Plate is .0179 inches thick X .185 inche s wide X 2.52 inches long. Inscribed numerals are .070 inches high, symbols are .03 inches high and long. All markings shall be .15 inches wide X .005 deep. Inscribed markings shall be filled with type I or II filler per spec TT-F-326, color white of Fe d-STD-595. Requirements are 1,200 each Designation Plate with a 100% option for use on the MK 93 or MK 64. FOB is Origin. The solicitation number for this acquisition is W52H09-04-T-0289 under commercial simplified acquisition procedures. Estimated iss ue date is 12 Apr 04. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205(1)(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to re spond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
