Description

The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego (SSC-SD) is conducting this sources sought to determine the interest and capability of certified 8(a) firms to participate in a competitive, best value procurement. SSC-SD intends to issue Request for Proposals (RFP) number N66001-04-R-0037 for the award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) single award contract to provide Combined Test Bed Operation and Maintenance support services. This includes efforts for supporting laboratory equipment including Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS), Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS), and AEGIS systems and equipment. The estimated level of effort for the 2-year base is 168,960 hours and 253,440 for one three-year option for a total of 422,400 hours for five years. The NAICS code for this effort is 541330 and the small business size standard is $23,000,000. A Statement of Work, estimated labor categories and hours and desired key personnel qualifications are attached. Interested certified 8(a) firms are requested to electronically submit capability statements not to exceed five pages by 4:00 p.m. PST on 14 April 2004.
