- Description
- NASA/KSC plans to issue a IFB 04-KEJ-004 for Repair Roof Building 1385. The order of magnitude for the procurement is between $250,000 and $500,000 and the effort shall be completed within 150 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 238160 and $12M, respectively. The anticipated release date of the IFB 04-KEJ-004 is on or about April 17, 2004 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about May 17, 2004. The firm date for receipt of bids or proposals will be stated in the IFB. Drawings will be available from Kim Matrazzo,Bid Distribution Office at 321-867-2851. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. [OMBUDSMAN STATEMENT IS REQUIRED] An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement [with the exception of the specifications and drawings] will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Accordingly, offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed.
