Description

This is a combined synopsis solicitation in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, H92244-04-Q-0027, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-18. This procurement is restricted to small business set-aside. All responses from responsible sources will fully be considered. NAICS Code 713920 size standards 500 employees or under. This synopsis/solicitation is for COMMERCIAL ITEMS. CLIN 0001: 10 Pr 130cm Dynafit Skis; 10 Pr 150cm Dynafit Skis (2002), 8 Pr 170cm Dynafit Skis (2002) (#TL ALPHA); 2 Pr 170cm Dynafit Skis (2003); 30 Silvretta 500" Universal bindings; 30 Pr Ski Crampons; 30 Pr Climbing Skins; 30 Pr Life-Link Telescopic Ski Poles (carbon fiber lower section); 15 Self-Arrest Grips (one for each pole set); 15 Fixed-Handle Shovels; 15 Telescopic-Handle Shovels; 30 Avalanche Probes (196cm); 30 Ski bags, padded, will accommodate all components of kit; Bindings shall be mounted. Skins will be trimmed tofit each ski. All components shall be assembled into complete kit, packaged in ski bag, and delivered. Ground Freight: FOB VA. BEACH. Solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items (Oct 2003) is hereby incorporated by reference. Solicitation Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items (Oct 2003) is hereby incorporated, the evaluation factors are based on price and delivery. The government will make a determination of best value based on these evaluation factors. Contractors are reminded to submit a complete copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items with their quote, if readily available. If not, the clause will be forwarded for completion prior to award (Oct 2003). Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Proposals are due no later than 2:00pm on April 6, 2004.
