Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make multiple awards for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution located in Beckley, West Virginia. Services to be provided include inpatient/outpatient facility services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity and requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit pricing. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period and four 12 month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the base period and option years are as follows: Inpatient Days - Guaranteed Minimum 50 days, Estimated Maximum 400 days; Outpatient Visits - Guaranteed Minimum 25 visits, Estimated Maximum 250 visits. Due to the volume of information, quantities of outpatient institution services will be provided in the solicitation document. The solicitation will be made available on or about April 2, 2004, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is on or about June 4, 2004. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. RFP 442-0015 HAS BEEN CHANGED TO RFP 10303-0015. A NEW SYNOPSIS WILL BE POSTED. PLEASE REFER TO RFP 10303-0015 FOR ALL FUTURE INFORMATION REGARDING THE COMPREHENSIVE MEDICAL SERVICES SOLICITATION FOR FCI BECKLEY, WEST VIRGINIA.
