Description

The VA Medical Center San Juan intends to negotiate sole source contract with Bayer Puerto Rico Inc. for Preventive Maintenance and Repair Services for one Rapidlab Blood Gas Analyzers model 845 under a firm fixed price contract. Bayer Puerto Rico Inc. has been designated as the only local authorized company to provide maintenance and repair services to the aforementioned equipment. This notice is not a request for competitive quotation, no solicitation documents are available and telephone request will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within five (5) calendar days from the day of this announcement. Due day will be March 29, 2004 at 03:30 PM (America/Puerto_Rico time). Point of contact will be Mrs. Maria Valentin, Contract Specialist at (787) 641-7582 ext. 10247
