Description
THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS - AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation number is FA4890-04-T-0013 and this solicitation number is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2001-20). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 611420 however, this RFQ is unrestricted. ***ACC Contracting Squadron, LAFB, VA has three requirements to obtain training vouchers from a Sun certified Partner in the Hampton Roads area to provide vouchers for 9 Lots of Web-based training for, UNIX Administration,1 SUN Pass, and 1 Java Pass. *** These certifications must meet the following specifications: (1) Training Vouchers for 9 Lots of Web-based training for UNIX Administration which will include the following courses, SA-119 UNIX Essentials featuring the Solaris 9 Operating Environment, SA-239 Intermediate System Administration for the Solaris 9 Operating Environment, SA-299 Advanced System Administration for the Solaris 9 Operating Environment, and SA-399 Network Administration for the Solaris 9 Operating Environment. (2) Training Vouchers/Instructor Led Training for 1 SUN Pass which will include the following courses, SA-119 UNIX Essentials featuring the Solaris 9 Operating Environment, SA-239 Intermediate System Administration for the Solaris 9 Operating Environment, SA-299 Advanced System Administration for the Solaris 9 Operating Environment, SA-399 Network Administration for the Solaris 9 Operating Environment,SL-110 Fundamentals of JAVA Programming Language, WP-1203 Advanced Object-Oriented Programming, SL-275 JAVA Programming Language, FJ-310 Developing J2EE Compliant Applications, and SL-314 Web Component Development. (3) Training Vouchers/Instructor Led Training for 1 JAVA Pass which will include a selection of 8 courses from the following, OO-226 Object-Oriented Analysis and Design Using UML, SL-110 Fundamentals of the Java Programming Language, SL-210 Migrating to OO Programming with Java Technology , SL-255 Java Programming Language for Visual Basic Programmers, SL-265 Java Technology for Structured Programmers, SL-275 Java Programming Language, SL-285 Java Programming Language Workshop, SL-291 JavaBeans Component Development, SL-301 Distributed Programming With Java Technology, SL-303 Implementing Java Security, SL-314 Web Component Development With Servlet and JSP Technologies, SL-320 GUI Construction with Java Foundation Classes, SL-330 Database Application Programming with Java Technology, SL-351 Advanced Business Component Development With Enterprise JavaBeans Technology, SL-385 Managing XML With the Java Platform, SL-425 Architecting and Designing J2EE Applications, SL-500 J2EE Patterns, FJ-300 Developing Web Applications and Web Components with Sun ONE Studio and FJ-310 Developing Applications for the J2EE Platform. These Vouchers/Training need to have an expiration date of no earlier than 1 yr from the date of purchase along with a flexible class schedule. ***All interested offerors shall provide a quote for the following line item: Line Item 0001: Quantity 9 (Lots), Training Vouchers. Line Item 0002: Quantity 1 (Lot), Sun Microsystem ? Sun Pass. Line Item 0003: Quantity 1 (Lot), Sun Microsystem- Java Pass.*** The contractor shall state the warranty coverage provided for all line items if applicable. ***Delivery shall be FOB Destination. ***Award shall be made to the offeror whose quote offers the best value to the Government with price and the aforementioned specifications stated above. The government will evaluate information based on the following evaluation criteria: Price, location of training, flexibility of training, and expiration date of vouchers *** The following provisions apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commerical Items; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items and 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Item.***The following clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; Clause 52.212-5 (Deviation) Contract Terms and conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, 52.222-3 Convict Labor, 52.233-3 Protest After Award, 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration, 52.247-34 F.O.B.
