Description
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for Service Agreement for maintenance, testing and emergency repair of the four (4) uninterruptible power supply (UPS) units, 1-Chloride power electronics, EDP70/75 4x4F, 480/480V, SN:B174424, 1-Best power unity/I, UT330, 30KVA, 208/208V, SN: LD0138, 1-Best power unity /I, UT320, 20KVA, 208/208V, SN: LC0270, 1-Powerware plus 150, model 150, 2x2, SN: EN254ZAA04, for base period with four (4) option years. (SEE ATTACHED STATEMENT OF WORK). The Simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is set-side for small business (see numbered note 1) the applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code 335999, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. Award shall be based on response time to emergency calls, 24 hours per day, 7 days per weeks; ability to provide necessary parts within 24 hours; past performance; and price. Factors are listed in descending order of importance. Offerors shall submit 3 references to include company name, telephone number, and point of contact with whom similar services have been provided within the past 3 years. All interested small businesses are requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, and point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, NAICS code, business size status, and Duns number. Quotations are due April 07, 2004 by 2:30 P.M.
