Description

THIS PRESOLICITATION NOTICE REPLACES THE PREVIOUIS NOTICE UNDER RFQ20902-0012-4. PLEASE USE THIS SOLICITATION NUMBER FOR ALL FUTURE CORRESPONDENCE. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award, to a qualified business for the provision of waste removal services for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI McKean), Hwy 56 & Big Shanty Road, Lewis Run, Pennsylvania. The contract period shall consist of a base period from October 1, 2004 through September 30, 2005 and four one-year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government. Estimated yearly contract requirements include: 1) pull charges for two institution owned 42 yard self-contained, roll-back, compactor containers (208 estimated pulls), 2) monthly rental fee for one 35 cubic yard construction dumpster , and 3) pull charges for one 35 yard construction dumpster (20 estimated pulls). All services provided must be in accordance with applicable solid waste disposal codes and regulations. This requirement is set aside 100 percent for small business. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 562111, with a small business size standard of $10.5M. The solicitation will be made available on or about April 12, 2004, will close on or about May 12, and have an anticipated effective award date of October 1, 2004. Upon issuance, solicitation packages may be accessed electronically at this website. Hard copies of this solicitation will not be available as the site provides downloading instructions. All future information concerning this solicitation, including amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most current information concerning this solicitation. All interested parties may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
