Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is M28321SU00129.This is a Request for Proposals (RFP). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001- 08. This procurement is 100% Hubzone Set Aside. All responsible sources may submit an offer. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 314912-500 employees. The following items are intended to be purchased for the Government: Quantity of (5) ea of the Poly Shelter with (5) ground rails, (30) swivel castors, and (6) replacement covers. Salient characte ristics are as followed: 5-Modified quonset style shelter, Size: 20?W X 30?L X 13?H with a 9? cave height. Truss Depth: 12? ladder trusses, 6? Truss spacing, Chords: 1.900?, 15 Gallon, Webs: 1.900?, 15 Gallon, Lateral Bracess: 1.9?, 15 Gallon. Shelter includes five 5 sets of reinforced ground rails for wheel mounting, 30 swivel castors, and 6 replacement covers. All Contractors submitting a proposal are reminded that you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database to be considered for award. The website for CCR is www.CCR2000.com. The following FAR/DFAR provisions apply: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, FAR 52.219-3 Total Hubzone Set Aside. FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms And Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -Commercial Items with the following applicable clauses for Para (b) apply to this acquisition: (22) (24) and under Para (e) the following apply: (1), (2), (3), and (4). The following DFAR Clauses apply to this acquisition: DFAR 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items with the following applicable clauses for Para (b): DF AR 252.225- 7008 Supplies to be Accorded Duty-Free Entry; DFAR 252.232- 7009 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer. Proposals are solicited FOB destination to Camp Pendleton, CA. Delivery is required for all items on or before 01 May 2004. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest price technically acceptable offer. Technical offers shall be submitted no later than 12PM 31 March 2004 to Sergeant Steinbuch via fax or E-mail. Technical offers can be sent via US Postal Service to Regional Contracting Office, Po Box 1609, Oceanside CA 92051-1609 ATTN: Sergeant Steinbuch. If offer is to be sent via Federal Express, address should read Regional Contracting Division, Bldg. 22108 MCB, Camp Pendleton CA 92055, ATTN: Sergeant Steinbuch. Faxed offers should be addressed to Sergeant Steinbuch at (760) 725-8445, and clearly state the solicitation number on the first page to ensure receipt. Offerors bear the burden of ensuring that all pages of the proposal reach the designated office before the deadline specified in the solicitation. Technical offers shall include a completed copy of the provision ? Commercial Items (the best way to complete this certification is to download the FAR clauses (volume II) at www.arnet.gov/far, print out the clause FAR 52.212-3, and fill in the appropriate blanks). Award is anticipat ed on 01 April 2004. Proposals, including price, are binding for 30 days after submission and written acceptance of an offer by the government will result in a contract.
