Description

This notice of intent is to acknowledge The Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) intent to award a simplified acquisition purchase order on a sole source basis to SETA Corporation, 6862 Elm Street, Suite 600. McLean, VA 22101. The proposed procurement is for developing enhancements to the Hospital Mortgage Insurance Management Information System (HMIMIS) in accordance with HUD's System Development Methodology (SDM). Continued development of system enhancement is required to keep the system current with accounting rules and enable the system to meet the needs of new program management including the implementation of an Early Warning System critical to the early identification of problem loans in which early intervention could prevent a potential claim or default. The requirement is being acquired sole source based on the fact that SETA developed the system and soliciting from sources unfamiliar with the system is not in the best interest of the government. Award date is expected to be on or about 9 April 04. This will be a firm-fixed price award. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
