Description

Contract consists of maintenance dredging of Marcus Hook, Deepwater Point, and New Castle Ranges of the Delaware River channel from stations 117+000 to 237+000. Dredging will be performed to a depth of 42' to 45' plus 1' allowable over depth limited by a vertical plane through the required depth contour. Dredging will be required to a distance of 25' outside the channel limits. The following disposal areas will be available for this work: Pedricktown North, and Killcohook Areas #1 and #3. Solicit ation documents will be available on the web page on or about 13 April 2004. Contract completion date will be 31 December 2004. Estimated cost range of the project is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The NAICS Code for this project is 237990 (SIC 1629) with a size standard of $17.0 million. Hard Copies will not be provided. No written or faxed requests will be accepted. Contractors are responsible for printing paper copies of the solicitations. All amendments to this solicitation will be posted to the Internet at the above address. Hard copies of the amendments will n ot be furnished. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the web page for any amendments to this solicitation. All contractors must be registered in the DODs Central Contractor Registration database as required by DFARS 204.7300 and comply with VETS 100 annual reporting as required by FAR 22.1310 (b) prior to award. Instructions will be included in the Solicitation. Liquidated damages will be specified. Davis Bacon rates will be applicable to the construction and bonding is required. Please review all bonds and accompanying documents required to be submitted. This procurement is advertised as unrestricted.
