Description

This solicitation will be released on 3/30/2004 with proposals due 4/30/2004. Construction services to renovate an existing 65 X 164 meter warehouse for means of obtaining an Emergence Center for sterile fruit flies. The renovation will consist of demolition of areas specified and constructing areas that fulfill the structure?s new purpose. All construction shall be compliant with all applicable National, State and Local codes. The location of the project is USDA APHIS IS Carr. Matamoros #79 Brecha, 102 Reynosa, Tamaulipas, MX. The successful construction firm will be provided a statement of work and record drawings from which to generate shop drawings which reflect the desired renovation. Once the shop drawings are approved, construction can begin. Estimated construction cost is between $100,000 and $200,000 US dollars. This procurement will be awarded as a fixed price contract. It is anticipated that a single award will be made. A copy of the solicitation, APHIS 04 011, is to be released on the FBO website. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Proposals will be due no later than 2:30 pm local time on April 30, 2004. A copy of the solicitation will be available in this office for review. Questions should be emailed to the Contracting Officer.
