Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. FSA-Q-17-04DC, issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), is for the purchase of hardware/software and maintenance upgrade required for the items identified below. This equipment is needed for contingency operations overseas and to establish FAS Washington Termination Point for Overseas Hubsites. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect thru Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-21. This procurement is being solicited on a restricted basis with a NAICS Code of 423430 and size standad of 500 employees. Only one award will result from this solicitation, via the issuance of a firm fixed price order. Items are required to be delivered, FOB Destination to USDA/FAS/FAA/FTSS/LMS, 1400 Independence Avenue, S.W., Stop 0567, Washington, D.C which will be the place of inspection and acceptance. Government required delivery date is April 30, 2004, however, earlier delivery will be accepted. ITEM 1. NETSCREEN-5GT, 10 User with US Linear Power Supply, AV/DI Bundle (Quantity 3 Each); ITEM 2. 24X7 Support Programs for Netscreen-5GT 10 User with US Linear Power Supply, AV/DI Bundle (3 Year Support for item 1); ITEM 3. Netscreen-SA-3010 for 50 Simultaneous Users (Quantity 4 Each); ITEM 4. Netscreen One Year of 12 Hour X 5 Day Support for NS-SA-3010 (Quantity 4 each); ITEM 5. Netscreen and Secure APP Manager to NS-SA-3010, Part No. NS-SA-3010 Upgrade-SAM (Quantity 4 Each); ITEM 6. ISS Proventia Intrusion Detection Boxes (Quantity 2 Each); ITEM 7. ISS Proventia G200 1st Year Annual Service (Quantity 2 Each); ITEM 8. ISS Proventia G200 1ST Year Annual Software Maintenance; ITEM 9. Hardware Upgrade from Proventia A201 to Proventia G200; ITEM 10. Support/Maintenance Upgrade from Proventia A201 to Proventia G200 (Quantity 1 Year). Basis for Award: The Government will make award to the responsible/responsive offeror whose offer will be most advantageous to the Government based on price alone. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror--Commercial applies to this acquisition. Offerors are to include a completed copy of FAR provision 52.213-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items w/their response. The aforementioned provision and clauses can be accessed electronically at http://www.arnet.gov/far and http://www.gsa.gov/far. Prospectives sources are reminded that award can only be made to a Contractor who is registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
