Description

The U.S. Department of State (DoS) proposes to negotiate a sole source procurement with Glowpoint, Inc., Hillside, New Jersey, for videoconferencing telecommunications services for a period of one year, with 2 one year option terms. The service requires 24x 7x365 operator support, bridging to legacy IP and ISDN systems and the internet both domestic and international locations. Service must be capable of providing to the DoS other individual videoconference billing sites as needed. The estimated total dollar value of all orders, including the initial order will be $150,000. To maintain system integrity, current hardware in place in the DoS facilities are: (1) CISCO 2620 Router and 1 Efficient Network Model 5851 Speed Stream Router. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms with any questions must contact the point of contact below by not later than April 6, 2004.
