Description

This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items: Indoor Cycling Evolution Schwinn spin bikes, Manufacturer: Nautilus HPS, Model # 3700014, Qty. 30ea containing the following specks: Indoor cycling bike inclusive of the following specks: -One piece monocoque frame with stainless steel post -Seat slider and handlebar extension tube -Secure connection between tube and frame -Three water bottle holders (hold one liter bottles of any size and shape) -Brake shroud to protect brakes from perspiration -High inertia drive system to direct drive gearing to simulate the feel of road riding -Emergency braking system -Corrosion resistant zinc plated and powder coated frame with stainless steel hardware throughout -Fully adjustable seat position (fore and aft, up and down) with stainless steel locking pop pins -Height adjustable, multi-position rubber coated stainless steel handlebars with stainless steel locking pop pins -No screw type locking pins -Bicycle componentry including cartridge bottom bracket and forged steel crank arms that will accept clip less pedals (triple link pedal) -Toe clips to keep foot securely attached to pedal while riding -Easy to use resistance adjustment knobs, with minimum 6 months warranty brake pads -Certification of up to 10 cycle training instructors to commercial standards, such as Schwinn cycle training or Mad Dog Johnny G standards. --Certification accredited as ACE and AFAA credits - Two Indoor Cycling Tool kit -Maximum Weight Capacity of Rider-300 lbs -Warranty: Frame- 15 years, Parts- 3 years, Labor-1 year. -Price including trade in value for 22 Schwinn Spinner Pro spin cycles, This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation in which quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ FASVMP40780100. All Statement of Need and Evaluation Factor requirements must be met as they appear in this notice. This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. Standard Industrial Code 5941 applies to this procurement. FOB: Destination for delivery to Bldg 2418, Beale AFB, CA 95903. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, apply to this solicitation. The provisions at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-- Commercial Items, apply to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation.
