Description

Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, parts, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision and all miscellaneous requirements to demolish and re-install new fire alarms in various buildings and to install a new access door system. The contractor shall furnish and install all necessary wires, conduits, antennas, control panels, horns, strobes, pull stations, etc., to make the system operational and compatible with the Digitize 2000 System presently on Base. This acquisition is for a Firm Fixed Price contract. The NAICS is 238210. Magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000. Project performance period is 60 calendar days. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about 30 May 2004. Dates are for estimating purposed only, and may be revised as indicated in the Invitation for Bid. This solicitation is unrestricted and is open to large, small, small disadvantaged, and women owned business concerns. All requests for the solicitation package must be made in writing.
