- Description
- The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All offerors must be able to qualify under NAICs 541511, Custom Computer Programming Service. The United States Army Command and Control Support Agency (USACCSA) has a business need to develop and maintain software applications, increase the efficiency of its own internal business processes, as well as aiding the Army Operation Center in its mission. This requirement is for uninterrupted support in the war on terrorism for the Deputy Chief of Staff, G3, Operations, Readiness and Mobilization Directorate. This requirement is being issued by GovWorks under the franchise authority of the Department of the Interior (DOI) on behalf of USACCSA and in accordance with FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This support will entail developing what will be the primary mobilization system used in the Army in direct support of the global war on terrorism. This request stems from the heightened security awareness brought on by the events of September 11th. This effort will require management and technical support for the command and control applications development requirements of the CCSA in support of the Operations, Readiness, and Mobilization Directorate of the Army G-3 ranging from in-house command and control applications supporting the Army Crisis Action Team (CAT) that can expand to enterprise-level command and control applications supporting MACOMS and Army Component Commands. Tasks will also include modifying and further enhancing a system that provides AUTODIN messages for not only members of the CAT, but to those deployed to Kuwait, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Philippines, Korea, etc., all in the direct support of the global war on terrorism. The period of performance for this effort shall be a base year plus three (3) option years from the date of award. Due to the critical nature of this acquisition, requests must be received on or before 4pm EST, Thursday, April 8, 2004. All inquires must include the solicitation number, company full name address, e-mail address, point of contact name, phone number and fax number. All solicitation packages will be issued via Federal Express on Monday, April 12, 2004, to all parties who submitted a written request, which contains additional instructions for this acquisition. Please be advised, it is the Offeror's responsibility to ensure/verify the Government receives their request for the solicitation package on or before the date and time specified.
