Description

The Information Technology, E-Commerce and Commercial Contracting Center-West (ITEC4-W), located at Fort Huachuca, AZ is providing this notification to announce the solicitation notice of offers to provide the necessary manpower and technical experti se the 5th Signal Command, 2nd Signal Brigade requires for the following O&M support: general site support and maintenance on the GIG equipment; preventive maintenance and demand maintenance, response to equipment failures, conduct minor building maintena nce and repair, maintain maintenance records and as-built drawings, conduct communications reliability and quality testing, performing necessary adjustment or repairs. The contract will consist of a phase-in period, basic period of performance commencing on 1 July 2004, with 4-one year option periods. This acquisition will be totally electronic, therefore, NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS WILL BE PROVIDED. The solicitation can be accessed on the Army Single Face to Industry Interactive Busine ss Opportunities Page (IBOP) at Internet site https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. For assistance with the IBOP webpage call 1-888-414-2677. This acquisition will be a full-and-open competition for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811213. A SECRET facility clearance granted by the Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO) shall be required prior to performing any part of the contract. A pre-proposal conference/site visit will be held on April 6-7 at Kirchberg Kaserne, L andstuhl, Germany and proposals are due May 4 at 4:30 MST. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. Base period is scheduled to begin July 1 2004, with a phase-in period from date of award to June 30 2004.
