Description
The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 0706-5000 is conducting a market survey to identify interested sources for the repair and maintenance of existing Breech Mounted Laser Ignition Systems (BMLIS). This support includes replacing and/or repairing broken components, cleaning and reassembling the system components. Inspection testing shall be conducted to insure that all components are performing as originally designed and to certify performance. Interested sources with these capabilities are requested to provide a capability statement, to include company name, address, telephone number, and technical point of contact. Information provided should also include detail on laser repair experience and facilities. This market survey is for information and planning purposes only, does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government. The Government implies no intention or opportunity to acquire funding to support current or future development efforts. If a formal RFQ is generated at a later date, an announcement will be published. No award will be made as a result of this market survey. All information is to be submitted at no cost to the Government. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this market survey. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this survey or results of information submitted. Responses must be submitted electronically to mrhines@pica.army.mil.
